History of the International Polcrosse Council
The International Polocrosse Council was formed at a meeting at the Queensland Gold Coast, Australia on 21st June 1976. The Foundation Countries were: Australia, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea, Rhodesia and South Africa. Foundation President: Mr Max Walters A.M., M.B.E. (Australia).”![]()
International Polocrosse Council Meetings have been held at:
- First 1976 at Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia
- Second 1978 at Lake Taupo, New Zealand
- Third 1983 at Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia
- Fourth 1987 at Bowral, New South Wales, Australia
- Fifth 1992 at Forbes, New South Wales, Australia
- Sixth 1996 at Werribee, Victoria, Australia
- Seventh 2002 at Darwin, Northern Territory, Australia
- Eighth 2003 at Warwick, Queensland, Australia
- Ninth 2007 at Warwick, Queensland, Australia
Peter Crauford
At the eighth International Polocrosse Council Meeting held on 5th May 2003, Foundation President Mr Max Walters A.M., M.B.E. announced his retirement and did not stand for re-election. Mr Peter Crauford (AUSTRALIA) was elected President.

Canadian Polocrosse Open Nationals
