Interested in playing polocrosse?

Polocrosse Canada wants to see more and more people take up the sport of polocrosse and will do all that we can to help you get started!

Polocrosse is a game for everyone; regardless of your age, riding ability and regardless of whether you are highly competitive or simply want to have a good time with your horses! It is a very fun, very relaxed horse sport and the only requirements you need to take it up are love of horses and the ability to enjoy yourself!

Polocrosse is messing around by yourself with a stick and ball, playing a little impromptu one on one, or perhaps two on two with some friends to full scale tournament play. It’s played throughout the world by people of all ages and riding skills. It’s all polocrosse, and it’s all fun.

If your an individual interested in getting involved with polocrosse we need to find you a club to play with or help you get one started in your area. Though polocrosse is team sport most of the actual training and practicing can be done by yourself and then you can just travel to play actual matches. The training and the skills are very useful for improving the schooling of your horse and the balance and ability of the rider so they have a purpose even if you aren’t playing full tournaments.

So if there is no clubs near you then the best way to get involved in polocrosse is to contact us directly and we can point you in the right direction! If you think that maybe some of your friends would be interested in playing it with you then maybe as a group you could take it up, have a look at our group of riders page to get more information on how we can help you.

Polocrosse Canada has a Polocrosse DVD available with a collection of sport specific training videos that cover, game basics, stick and ball skills and game strategies. Great for new coaches and new players to gain an understanding of the game and get you started. Please use the form at the bottom of the page to request a copy, there is a $10.00 cost per copy.

Equipment Kit

If your club would like to try out Polocrosse, we have a Polocrosse equipment kit available for rent it consists of 6 racquets, two balls and 6 numbered player pinnies. Providing the riding group with all of the equipment required to play a game of Polocrosse. $150.00 deposit is required for rental of the ‘Polocrosse Training DVD’ , ‘Polocrosse Equipment Kit’ and Shipping.
