First Time Players Essential Checklist

First time out we can supply most items, just call ahead and let us know what you need and when your plan to attend.

Horse Equipment

4 bell boots or over reach boots.
4 sport boots or polo wraps.
Bridle and bit with no protrusions.
Saddle with out a horn, australian, endurance, english, saddle bronc with an over girth.
Breast plate or breast collar.
Saddle pad.
Braid or tape up the tail.

Rider Equipment

Shirt in club colours and correct number. (practices are usually with pinnies or bibs)
Riding Boots with heel.
Polocrosse Racket.
An approved riding helmet.
Polocrosse Ball.
Optional
Knee Pads.
Spurs.
Whip with flap.

Equipment Kit

We have a Polocrosse Equipment Kit available for rent. It consists of 6 racquets, two balls, 6 numbered player pinnies, rule book and video.

Polocrosse Clinics

Polocrosse Canada is very keen to grow the sport in Canada. With this in mind we offer clinics and equipment to interested groups at minimal cost. Over the last year many riding groups have started to offer polocrosse and Polocrosse Canada has worked closely with them to ensure they have the help and support they need to achieve this. Polocrosse Information and Brochures

Polocrosse Canada has a Polocrosse DVD available for $10 which has a collection of sport specific training videos that cover game basics, stick and ball skills and game strategies.
