Hey that worked well. Good timing too as I got a call last night requesting a 4H demo at the 4H Classic. Hosted at the Olds college, where teams compete to win an opportunity to go to the National Western 4-H Horse Classic, Denver, Colorado, January 2009.
Will find out more details but might be a good event to continue showing the sport at participants will be 9 - 21 with family members. Might work out good if we could have a booth there and actively recruit potential players. Might be something Terry Fulwood and Anna would enjoy also.
Would like to get some feedback if you guys think this would be an option as it would take a group effort to make it work.
Will let you know more details as I do.
Later
Jac

2008 4H Horse Classic Update,

Have just spoke with the 4H organizers for the upcoming 4H Horse 2008 Classic and here are the times we would be able to choose from to present the sport of Polocrosse followed by some hands on racquets skills for those interested. Attending will be approximately 100 4H members and leaders of various ages and abilities. Great opportunity to present the sport to lots of riders.

Open times for the clinics are:
Wednesday, July 30- 1:30-3 PM
Thursday, July 31- 4:125- 5:30 PM
Friday, August 1- 10:30- 12 noon

If each club representative could gather the names of who could attend what dates and times and let me know by the end of next week we could get back to the 4H group ASAP. Requirements 7 horses/riders one speaker and lots of racquets and balls.

Hello Everyone

Got some good feedback about this Olds 4H Horse Classic presentation, we have committed to the Wednesday, July 30- 1:30-3 PM.

So far we have Al and Sue, Lesley, Allison, Anna, Meagan and Dave Carnell. These riders plus perhaps the NSW visitors if they are still here will be able to present a great look at the sport of Polocrosse to the 4H members and leaders. If you find you self able to join this group - the more the merrier - just drop one of them an email and perhaps you can jump in for a roadtrip up to Olds.

Will follow up with more details as they come available

Have a great weekend.

Jacquie

P.S.
