Stampede Parade Fri July 4th 2008
| July 4, 2008 |
Hello All,
I wanted to make sure that everyone knows whats going on for the parade…
So here it is. I know that there are only a couple of riders from Foothills coming but if you could contact me with information whether or not you need pens that would be great as I need to have them paid for and arranged straight away. Please contact me and pay for your pens by May 25th.
Best regards, Lesley Plant
Howdy all:
Attached is your 2008 Stampede Parade acceptance letter. Insurance certificates can be faxed to (403)
335-4042 or emailed to me and should be received no later than June 1, 2008. As
in previous years, there will be a limited number of reserved overnite pens available at a cost of $25.00/ea, prepaid - call me for details.
If any of you have ventured to Fort Calgary lately, you’ll notice we are encountering a mountain of problems, or rather, a pool of problems. The City has constructed a retention pond (as part of the East Village Revitalization project) square in the middle of what used to be our main parking area and fenced off approximately 1/3 of the park around this pond. We still feel, though, that with 100% co-operation from all Parade participants, there should be sufficient area for everyone to park. Anything you can do as a group to minimize your parking area would be greatly appreciated. Please consider horse-pooling as a number one idea. We’re in the process of preparing a new Fort Calgary Parking Map which will be included with your final parade package you’ll receive early in June.
If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to call me. Here’s to another world class Stampede
Parade!!!!
