Friday Clinic

We will be putting on a clinic Friday afternoon with stations where participants will work through Polocrosse skills, strategy, rules and horsemanship. This should get everyone sharpened up right before the tournament! Cost for the clinic is $10 and includes the chili supper.

Tournament Format

All levels of players will be accommodated. You are welcome to bring a second horse to play in another level for an additional $20. Horses may only be shared in B and C levels and not within the same level. An exact schedule of play will be available Friday night when all entries are received.

Accommodation

Camping is free and we invite everyone to stay over. We will be having a blue grass jam around the fire on Saturday night. Horse pens and pastures will be available at no extra cost. Please bring extra buckets for water. Hay will be available for $10 a bale.

Food

Players will be supplied Saturday supper and Sunday breakfast. Those meals can be purchased by non-players for $15. There will be a Friday night chili supper for $5. We will make available a breakfast and lunch Saturday at an additional cost. We will also keep a cooler of beverages for sale throughout the weekend.

Alcohol

We are asking that participants keep alcohol free until the completion of all games at the end of each day. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated!

Umpire Horses

Players supplying umpire horses will receive $5 off their entry fee for each horse supplied.

I posted 24 pictures to the Polocrosse Canada site, today.

To answer the 3 questions i was asked at Okotoks on Sunday:

No, i didn’t loose a bet, i chose to shave my head.

Yes, I do look competent in the saddle as long as the horse walks.

And, my DVD burner on my desktop went down, and i am unable to burn anything until later this week, so it looks like i will just bring a bunch to the Glenmore park tournament.
